The New Mexico Symphonic Chorus opens the 2026–27 season on November 15 with Berlioz’s L’Enfance du Christ (The Childhood of Christ). Intimate and luminous, this oratorio tells the story of the Holy Family’s flight into Egypt with Hector Berlioz’s characteristic invention and gift for melody. You’ll recognize the composer of the Symphonie Fantastique and Faust in this rarely-heard work. Featuring John Tiranno, Javier Ortiz, Cecilia Violetta López, Carlos Archuleta, Ashraf Sewailam, and conducted by Zoe Zeniodi.
