What We Do
We design and fabricate scenic elements of every scale and complexity: painted drops and soft goods, structural scenic units, period and contemporary set pieces, specialty props, and full production builds. Whether you need a single statement piece or a complete scenic package, our team brings the same standard of craft to every project.

Contract Builds & Co-Productions
Opera Southwest Scenic Studios actively seeks contract fabrication and co-production partnerships with regional theatres, opera companies, dance organizations, and touring productions.
Contract fabrication means we build to your design. Send us your drawings, models, or concepts and we’ll price, fabricate, and deliver finished scenic elements ready for your load-in.
Co-production means we collaborate. If your organization wants to share the creative and financial investment in a new production, we’re experienced partners in that process , from design development through build, with an eye toward scenery that can travel and be remounted.
Both paths offer access to professional-grade craftsmanship at a cost structure that makes sense outside the largest markets.
